About NHIN Watch
You saw a celebrity or a doctor promoting a health product, or a news-style page that looked a little too perfect, and now you want to know if it is real. That is the reader NHIN Watch is for. We investigate fake endorsements, AI-altered health ads, copied news pages, rotating product funnels, who actually sells an item, and the billing and subscription terms behind it. We also give practical reporting steps if you have already been charged. NHIN Watch is an independent publication. It is not a government body, a regulator or a medical practice, it has no clinical staff, and nothing here is medical advice.
Who we are
Two decades in search and marketing research, and the same two decades as health industry affiliates, are what we bring to this desk. That means we have seen how these funnels are built, from the inside. We are health enthusiasts, not doctors, and we claim no medical expertise. The industry is close to impossible to navigate, and the people most often caught out are the ones who trusted a familiar face.
How we work
We start with your problem: what you saw, what you were promised, what you were asked to pay. For each offer we gather what the seller itself says, including the checkout page and the fine print, then place it beside the newest published research and the facts a buyer should have: ingredients and doses, price and refund terms, reported side effects, who the product is for and who should avoid it, and the alternatives. We do not recommend. We lay out what we found and you decide. We also point to places where you can check further or report a problem. Our work is documentary; we do not say we bought, tested or used what we cover.
Fact-checking and how our articles are made
We draft with AI assistance, starting from seller pages, checkout screens and studies that we cite. We use it to assemble seller statements, studies, billing terms and buyer facts quickly and in a consistent shape. Then each factual claim is checked against the source cited for it before publication, and an independent review step reads the finished article. Any price or availability note is dated with the day we last checked it. Medical and safety statements are attributed to their sources, not asserted by us, and we never call an offer a scam without documented evidence. None of our pages diagnoses, doses or tells anyone how to treat themselves.
Who writes here
Our byline reads "By NHINWatch.com Investigations Desk". It stands for the publication's editorial team as one body. It is no individual with credentials, and nothing on the site shows a name, a face or a qualification. Do not take our word for anything; follow the sources we cite.
Corrections
