Found a mistake? Tell us and we will fix it
Think a page on NHIN Watch is wrong? Send it to us. We are people, and our pages are built and checked by the method on our How We Research page. Even so, a detail can be wrong or go out of date. We are sorry when that happens, and we want to put it right.
What to report
Please tell us about any of these:
- A fact that is wrong, such as an ingredient, an amount, a price, a guarantee or refund term, or what a study found.
- A cited source that does not say what the page says, or a link that no longer works.
- The wrong product or maker, or details that have changed, including a recall or safety warning.
- A product described in a way that breaks advertising or health-claim rules.
- An ad or banner that is not labelled as one, or that makes a claim of its own.
How to report
Use our contact page. Include the page address, the sentence in question, and a source for the correct information if you have one.
What happens next
Each report is checked against its source. If the page is wrong, we fix it. The date line then shows “Updated” with the date of the change.
What a correction covers
Corrections cover facts and compliance. Which products a page covers, and how it compares them, are editorial decisions. The About page explains who makes those decisions and discloses commissions and any connection to products shown. Asking us to remove a comparison, a competing product or an ad is not a correction, but we read every request. A wrong fact inside a comparison is a correction. If you make a product and find something wrong about it, send us the source so we can update the page.
Legal notices and safety concerns
Send legal notices and product safety concerns through the contact page too. If you were harmed by a product, speak to a clinician. You can also report it to the FDA through MedWatch.
