Is TMates legit? TMates is a real, named company. TMates LLC runs an online intake that sends prescriptions for weight-loss medicines through licensed clinicians and pharmacies. No regulator or court has documented TMates as a scam, so this page does not call it one. The open questions are the price, what your plan includes, and how refunds work. Those are covered below.
Is TMates legit?
TMates’s Terms of Use name TMates LLC as the operator of the website and platform. The homepage carries a 2025 copyright notice for TMates LLC, and the footer lists a street address in Miami, Florida. glp1files reports that TMates’s pharmacy partners are not named publicly on its website. (glp1files)
Two third-party review sites have rated TMates. glp-1.reviews rates it “Competitive but Mixed” and calls it a legitimate telehealth company, while noting that independent patient reviews are scarce. glp1picks gives it 6.0 out of 10 and labels it “Fair.”
Is TMates a scam?
No regulator or court has documented TMates as a scam, so this page does not use that word as a finding. What is documented is narrower: mixed reviews, billing complaints, and refund terms that narrow sharply once a prescription is sent to a pharmacy. Those are the points to check before you pay.
What is TMates and who is behind the prescriptions?
TMates describes itself as an online platform. Its Terms of Use say it connects members with Treating Providers, which the terms call independent healthcare professionals. The terms also say TMates does not practice medicine. glp1files says licensed clinicians decide eligibility and prescribing after intake, and that TMates handles account access, billing and coordination.
TMates does not offer in-person visits, physical exams, urgent care or emergency services, according to glp1files. The terms say that if you have a medical emergency, you should call 911.
TMates’s homepage says it “may offer compounded medications from registered U.S Pharmacies,” and that compounded medications “are not evaluated by the FDA for safety, quality or efficacy.” The site also says TMates is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Novo Nordisk or Eli Lilly. It names Wegovy and Zepbound as registered trademarks of those companies.
The seller’s own numbers do not match. glp1picks reports that the homepage claims 70K+ happy patients in one place and 100,000+ in another. The about page claims 100k+ orders fulfilled and 10+ years of experience. glp-1.reviews says the company was founded in 2022. Ask TMates which figures are current before you rely on any of them.
What does TMates actually sell?
glp1picks describes two paths. The first is compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide with the medication included. The second is a $99-a-month clinical service for brand-name Wegovy or Zepbound, where the medication is filled separately. TMates also lists phentermine.
Is phentermine from TMates real?
TMates lists phentermine as a non-GLP-1 appetite suppressant at $149 a month, according to glp1picks. glp1files says the catalog includes non-GLP-1 weight-loss medications. Catalog names do not guarantee a specific medication, glp1files adds, because a clinician makes the final prescribing decision after intake.
Does the $99 plan include the medicine?
No. glp1picks reports that the $99 Wegovy or Zepbound tier covers the prescription and provider oversight. You fill the prescription at your own pharmacy, and TMates says it does not dispense or ship that drug. glp1picks also flags the $249 compounded semaglutide plan. Its page is badged “Clinical Service Only,” while the body copy says a licensed pharmacy fills and ships the prescription. Confirm in writing whether the medication is included before you pay.
How much does TMates cost?
Prices as of September 3, 2026; check the checkout for today’s. These are the prices glp1picks lists.

|---|---|---|
| Compounded semaglutide, month-to-month | $249 | — |
| Compounded semaglutide, 3-month | $217 | $650 |
| Compounded semaglutide, 6-month | $175 | $1,050 |
| Compounded semaglutide, 12-month | $158 | $1,900 |
| Compounded tirzepatide, month-to-month | $297 | — |
| Compounded tirzepatide, 3-month | $267 | $800 |
| Compounded tirzepatide, 6-month | $217 | $1,299 |
| Compounded tirzepatide, 12-month | $167 | $1,999 |
| Wegovy or Zepbound, clinical service only (medicine billed separately by your pharmacy) | $99 | — |
| Phentermine | $149 | — |
glp1picks says consultation is included, and free shipping applies to compounded orders. The multi-month plans require prepayment, so the lower monthly price means paying more at the start. Read the refund terms below before you choose one.
TMates says it accepts most major insurance plans and asks you to check your coverage in its patient portal. It names no specific insurers, glp1picks reports. TMates does not bill insurance for the drug itself.
TMates complaints and reviews: what people report
Independent reviews are thin. glp1picks reports a Trustpilot score of 3.2 from a single one-star review. That review cites a $347 charge, a consultation that could not be booked, and only a partial refund. glp1picks also reports that a second Trustpilot profile for TMates was removed by Trustpilot for guideline violations. Its table lists Trustpilot as “No rating on file,” so check the Trustpilot page yourself.
The BBB rates TMates B, not accredited, with 16 complaints, as of October 16, 2026, according to glp1picks. You can check the BBB profile at BBB.org.
glp-1.reviews reviewed community forum mentions from early 2026 and lists three recurring complaints. Some patients were charged the month-to-month price when they believed they had a multi-month discount. Some said refunds were slow after an ineligible result. Some waited 48–72 hours for a reply through the patient portal at peak times. glp-1.reviews notes that similar problems appear at other large telehealth providers.
On Reddit, glp1picks reports essentially no organic discussion of TMates. The few third-party reviews it found skew negative on billing and cancellation.
What is TMates’s refund policy?
The refund rules are in TMates’s Terms of Use, section 11, “Fees, Purchase, and Refund Terms.” They depend on where you are in the process.
| When you ask | Refund under the terms |
|---|---|
| Before the medical team reviews your medical history | 100% refund |
| After review, and you do not qualify for a medication-assisted weight loss plan | 100% refund |
| After review, you qualify, and a prescription is written and sent to a pharmacy | No refund |
| A refund request that is not approved | Any payment plans stay in place |
The same section says TMates may modify or set a new pricing structure at any time before it bills your initial payment or future payments. It also says that if you receive an incorrect refund or start a credit card chargeback, TMates may seek other remedies, including collections agencies, and may charge interest up to the legal maximum.
How do I cancel TMates, and how do I log in?
glp1picks reports that the product pages say you can cancel anytime. The refund terms above still apply. It advises cancelling a few days before your next billing date, not on it, and keeping the written confirmation. glp1files says billing, renewals, pauses and cancellations are handled through the platform.
Log in and manage your account through the TMates patient portal. For help, use support@tmates.com or +1 (833) 359-8332, both listed on the seller’s site. For access or deletion of personal information, the privacy policy lists (833) 210-4080 and privacy@tmates.com, a different number from the support line.
What stopping a medication means for your body is a question for your prescribing clinician. TMates’s billing terms do not answer it.
Side effects and what the intake screens for
glp-1.reviews’s medical disclaimer says GLP-1 medications carry risks, including gastrointestinal issues and rare but serious side effects. It describes TMates’s intake as screening for gallbladder disease, seizures, glaucoma, sleep apnea, Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN2, a cancer history, tachycardia, coronary artery disease, heart attack or stroke in the past two years, and QT prolongation.
glp-1.reviews says TMates does not include lab testing in its monthly price. Clinicians may ask for blood work from the last 6–12 months. It also says the intake asks for your email and billing details only on the final screen.
How does TMates compare with other options?
glp1picks lists these starting prices for other programs. It says they are not care-quality rankings, so check each one’s full price before you choose.
| Program | Starting price as listed | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| TMates | $99 clinical service; compounded plans $158–$297 a month | Whether the medication is included |
| Found | From $169 per 4 weeks | 12-month cash plan paid upfront; the number of 28-day payments |
| AgelessRx | From $139 a month | Medication, upfront payment and renewal |
| bmiMD | From $129 a month | Full price before you choose |
glp-1.reviews compares TMates with Allara Health and IVIM Health. It says TMates is the lower-cost access option, but it does not include lab testing or a dietitian, which Allara does.
I already paid. What do I do now?
Start with the refund table above. Find out which stage you are in: before the medical review, after review without qualifying, or after a prescription was sent to a pharmacy. Then do the following.
1. Ask TMates for a refund in writing at support@tmates.com. Keep the reply.
2. Cancel any payment plan through the patient portal, and keep the written confirmation.
3. If the refund is refused or never arrives, contact the company or bank that issued your card. Georgia’s consumer protection guidance says to ask them to reverse the transaction. (Georgia’s guide to losing money to a scam) LegalShield, a legal-plan company, says card disputes usually must be filed within 60 days of the charge appearing on your statement. (LegalShield’s guide)
4. Know that TMates’s terms say it may pursue collections and interest after a chargeback.
5. Report the company to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov. The FTC says it cannot resolve individual reports, but it uses them to investigate.
Our collanol reviews and is glycoreset legit checks cover the same price and refund questions for other health products.
